On behalf of the proud men and women in the Vallejo Fire Department, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our Department by surfing through the various pages of our website.
The City of Vallejo is located on the northern shore of the San Francisco Bay and has a population of approximately 119,000. The Vallejo Fire Department was established in 1868.
As Fire Chief, I am very proud of our newly acquired state-of-the-art fire apparatus, emergency medical and rescue and equipment. However, I feel that it is extremely important to recognize our most valued asset which is the dedicated people, sworn and civilian, who serve the citizens of the City of Vallejo. It is our primary mission to provide a wide range of programs, designed to protect the lives and the property of the citizens of the City of Vallejo from the adverse effects of fire and sudden medical emergencies or the exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature.
