Vallejo’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)
Each fiscal year, the Finance department generates a financial report for the City. The report is fully informative, including information regarding funds and account groups of agencies governed by the City Council.
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is a summarization of the City’s financial activity for its fiscal year. The annual fiscal year for the City of Vallejo begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year. The City of Vallejo provides a full range of municipal services, including police and fire protection; the construction and maintenance of streets and other infrastructure; recreational activities and cultural events.
The Comprehensive Annual Fiscal Report includes all funds and account groups of the City of Vallejo. The report also includes the funds and accounts groups relating to those agencies over which the City Council exercises control and appoints the voting majority of the governing board.
