2015 Assemblies

Assemblies are over...but it's not too late to become a Budget Delegate!

Sign up here to help develop ideas into proposals for the October ballot!

Last October, you voted from among 25 proposals and recommended 8 projects for funding. What will be on the ballot this year? It's up to you!

What are Budget Assemblies?

At several community meetings across the city, Vallejo residents and stakeholders meet in small groups to brainstorm project ideas. These meetings are open to any Vallejo resident or someone who works, volunteers or owns a business in Vallejo - regardless of age.

2012 Budget Assembly

At Budget Assemblies, small groups of residents share their ideas - and all ideas are recorded on the wall. Every idea submitted has a chance to turn into a real proposal on the ballot. City Staff will sign up volunteers who will work closely with the City of Vallejo to transform the ideas from the community into formal project proposals.

There are several ways to participate - click below to sign up!

I want to:

* Be a Committee Facilitator during the Delegate Phase
* Help spread the word around Vallejo and join the Outreach Team
* Be a Budget Delegate and turn ideas into real proposals for the ballot

Click here to prequalify a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for project proposals - deadline is May 22, 2015.

Not sure how to participate? Click here and City staff will help you find your role!
