2015 Assemblies

Now is the time to submit your ideas!

Do you have ideas to make Vallejo even better? The City of Vallejo invites every resident to come out and share your project ideas. Last October, you voted from among 25 proposals and recommended 8 projects for funding. What will be on the ballot this year? It's up to you to brainstorm all the ideas!

What are Budget Assemblies?

At several community meetings across the city, Vallejo residents and stakeholders meet in small groups to brainstorm project ideas. These meetings are open to any Vallejo resident or someone who works, volunteers or owns a business in Vallejo - regardless of age.

2012 Budget Assembly

At Budget Assemblies, small groups of residents share their ideas - and all ideas are recorded on the wall. Every idea submitted has a chance to turn into a real proposal on the ballot. City Staff will sign up volunteers who will work closely with the City of Vallejo to transform the ideas from the community into formal project proposals.

There are several ways to participate - click below to sign up!
