Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to display a tag or receipt?
No! Permits are tied to the license plate number of the vehicle parking in the lot. Permits placed on the dashboard are not considered valid proof of payment.

I don't have a license plate, what do I do?
Drivers without a license plate must enter the last seven digits of their VIN.

I've registered multiple cars for my monthly pass, how does that work?
Only one vehicle may be parked in the parking garage or the surface lots at a time. If more than one vehicle with the same permit is parked, one or both of the vehicles may get ticketed.

I received a parking ticket today even though I have a valid permit. How do I get the ticket removed?
Permit holders that believe they have mistakenly received a ticket should contact the Vallejo Police Department, Parking Citations Division at 707-651-7172. The request for an initial review must be made within 21 days of when the citation was created.

How do I manage my Monthly Permit Account?
Please review the information on the Parkmobile FAQ page. This includes how to login, updating payment information, changing valid license plates, and signing up for automatic payments.

Where are the pay kiosks located?
You can view the kiosks (labeled as 'PS') on this map.

Over-sized Vehicles

Per Municipal Code 8.20.170, over-sized vehicles and trailers are not allowed to park in any parking lot within the City. An over-sized vehicle is classified as any of the following;
  • A gross weight in excess of 6,000 pounds
  • An overall length in excess of 21 feet
  • A house or truck trailer

If a vehicle takes up more than one parking stall but does not meet the above requirements of an over-sized vehicle, the customer must pay for the amount of parking stalls that are used.

Over-sized vehicles may park at Brinkman Lot M at Curtola Parkway & Marin Street.
